Mysterious? Ubiquitous? Massive? Theorists often try to settle the question in the title of a paper &#8212; with a single adjective. Thanks to this penchant we now have the possibility of <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1602.04219\">cannibal<\/a> dark matter. To be sure, in the dark world eating one&#8217;s own kind is not considered <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1505.07107\">forbidden<\/a>, not even <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/544855\">repulsive<\/a>. Just a touch <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/1357605\">selfish<\/a>, maybe. And it could still make you <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/1712703\">puffy<\/a> &#8212; if you&#8217;re <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/1385847\">inflatable<\/a> and not particularly <a href=\"http:\/\/inspirehep.net\/record\/552107\">inelastic<\/a>.
